Well,
I saw the dealer announcement today at my local Kawasaki dealer. No price or availability. The supply will be limited, the rep said. Probably May/June. It has the new liquid dash, and dual front brakes, I only saw the green version.

My dealer said that the rep though the price point would be in the low $9000.00 range. The only 2 parts not on the ZX 4R, that are on the ZX 25RR, are the adjustable rear shock & the adjustable top fork spring nuts. Both available from Asia.

I just saw a special promotion on the Kawasaki Australia web site. They are offering a $5000.00 discount Feb only, if you buy a one of the ZX10RR models. Evidently they only made 500 for all markets. I guess they want them gone. I have never seen a $5000 discount from Kawasaki, on any new bikes. I wonder if that means they are going to be done with 1,000 cc WSB?
Things are changing.

@BMHS this is not new info, there has been speculation on this bike from the last 1/4 of last year.. the 2R and 2RR are different bikes just as the 4R will be and if they offer a 4RR, again info thats been circulating here for awhile now. hence why Ive been pretty adamant on this bike hitting the ground and it's models

I live in Wisconsin, West Bend to be exact. You may not care what happens in Australia, ****, you may not care about anything, but I do. Australia is a very big motorcycle racing county, with a big Kawasaki presence. It may show that their going to wrap up their WSB sponsorship. And, of course there has been tons of news about the ZX 4R for the past 6 months. It was however just confirmed today, so it is news, where you care or not.

Fair enough, but there is no down side to being polite. I am helping with technical engine issues with bikes in the Junior Cup, but I'm still interested in other forms of racing. I am considering purchasing a ZX 4R, just for collecting. My modified Ninja 400 will still be a way better everyday performance bike.

6am PT....

Here are my predictions for the US market. Hopefully Kawasaki doesn't punk us and not release the ZX4R today.

7500-8500 usd
399-410 lbs
72-77 hp

Edit: Nice bike but it is very close in weight and price to my current 2021 ZX6R KRT so I'm not seeing much benefit for me personally. The ZX6R with a slip-on is around 420 lbs and the 2021 ZX6R KRT ABS is 11.5k.

ZX-4RR

9699 USD
412 lbs

USA didn't get ZX-4R, only Canada? Both got ZX-4RR. Why is the R more expensive than RR in Canada. Edit: they fixed the pricing swap. RR has qs/ab and "zx10r rear style" suspension.

Bore/stroke (57.0x39.16 = 399.7) is NOT the same as Kove 400 (59.0x36.5 = 399.2) wow there are two of them now.

Anyone see power numbers? [edit: 76hp and +3 w/ram, 26.5 ft-lb tq @ 11000]

Holy ****! $9700??! That's way more than I expected. And about 50 lbs heavier than the ninja 400! Might have to pass on that now.
Same here. I also saw torque as 26@11k. Based on that and 14k redline I’m guessing somewhere not much higher than 60-62 hp max. At 415 lbs it may have a bit more top speed than the twin but I doubt the performance increase will justify nearly twice the cost for a track bike.

Cool bike but……. We’ll see :)

Everything's lighter than a CBR lol This is only like 10 lbs lighter than the ZX6R which is not a bragging point. I wish they would at least tell us how much power it makes. But the price and weight makes it a big disappointment in my opinion. I do like that it has autoblip if I'm interpreting that correctly. The power modes and TC is all worthless for a bike that's most likely under 70 hp.

I think it's a good price point. If it was much cheaper it wouldn't have good suspension components and all the other goodies. If they'd put crap suspension on it and charged $7995 I wouldn't be interested at all.
Agree on the weight, I was hoping for 20lbs lighter. But then would cost $2k more.

So I imagine OTD price of 11k.... Seems steep. It is the Elusive Double R that Kawasaki does for special models though. Not sure if its worth the cost. 1K more for a ZX6R. I still wants for some reason....
