Well,
I saw the dealer announcement today at my local Kawasaki dealer. No price or availability. The supply will be limited, the rep said. Probably May/June. It has the new liquid dash, and dual front brakes, I only saw the green version.

You seem to be suggesting it could be announced, but never arrive ...
No, no at all. It's just not going to be made in big numbers, until Kawasaki see if it sell really well.
@xorbe I just don't live my life on speculation, at the moment, the ZX2R exists and the 4R doesn't

@BMHS i can see a limited production of the RR, price point and where it may fit is where people in the industry are curious about
You can order the ZXR2 in NZ as a special offer, but no word as of yet regarding a ZX4R. My gut feeling is that this will be an expensive bike to make and consequently sell, with a fairly small market.

Yeah ZX6R+ pricing probably. $12K? Someone should do a price prediction poll for grins.

I'd guess and say 10 Gs if it is physically less bike but ZX6R capable.
My dealer said that the rep though the price point would be in the low $9000.00 range. The only 2 parts not on the ZX 4R, that are on the ZX 25RR, are the adjustable rear shock & the adjustable top fork spring nuts. Both available from Asia.

Guys,
It also come with a shifter & traction control.
I just saw a special promotion on the Kawasaki Australia web site. They are offering a $5000.00 discount Feb only, if you buy a one of the ZX10RR models. Evidently they only made 500 for all markets. I guess they want them gone. I have never seen a $5000 discount from Kawasaki, on any new bikes. I wonder if that means they are going to be done with 1,000 cc WSB?
Things are changing.

@BMHS this is not new info, there has been speculation on this bike from the last 1/4 of last year.. the 2R and 2RR are different bikes just as the 4R will be and if they offer a 4RR, again info thats been circulating here for awhile now. hence why Ive been pretty adamant on this bike hitting the ground and it's models
curious if you live in the states or aus? why would we care whats on sale there or what is offered or not?
I live in Wisconsin, West Bend to be exact. You may not care what happens in Australia, ****, you may not care about anything, but I do. Australia is a very big motorcycle racing county, with a big Kawasaki presence. It may show that their going to wrap up their WSB sponsorship. And, of course there has been tons of news about the ZX 4R for the past 6 months. It was however just confirmed today, so it is news, where you care or not.
It's just that time of the month for JP01, don't mind her too much.

as a shop owner I care about what's available here and follow MotoA closer as it has more impact what people are wanting to achieve and buy. no need to get your panties in a bunch

Fair enough, but there is no down side to being polite. I am helping with technical engine issues with bikes in the Junior Cup, but I'm still interested in other forms of racing. I am considering purchasing a ZX 4R, just for collecting. My modified Ninja 400 will still be a way better everyday performance bike.
