I finally received my back-ordered M4 full exhaust. While I definitely like it better than the stock, I'm not sure I love it. It's pretty **** loud at easy cruising (4-5K). I love the quick rev sound, and don't mind it getting loud when I'm on the throttle but feel a bit like a tool roaring past innocent women and children even though I'm stuck behind some lost tourist doing 20 mph at the bottom of 2nd gear... Maybe I'll try the Yoshi next.

Anyone got real world (not a youtube video) thoughts on higher performance full systems that don't require ear plugs to go pick up a 6 pack at the neighborhood store?

They're all loud without a baffle installed. Does yours have one?

Sorry for your annoying loud sound effect.. but I did want to note that the complete system looks very nice. The main reason I am holding off on a slip on is the color difference between the stock exhaust and the midpipe attachments. They seem fugly to "me".. I would love for a slipon to come out that actually uses the heat shield already provided by Kawasaki... I only mention this in about every exhaust posting in hopes some exhaust maker hears me..lol.. maybe some exhaust paint? to match up with black slipons might be out there? dunno...

BTW, nice tail bag! :grin::clap::grin:

Thanks I really like it. It is a Nelson Rigg CL-1060-S Sport. I just got the larger ST version but haven't tried it yet.

Yeah, I kinda knew that... nice bags for a small bike...:)

muddy bike

Unintentionally went out offroading a couple of Sundays ago -- wet gravel and muddy roads in the boondocks. Accompanied friends who wanted to check out some properties in the mountains. Didn't realize the roads into those inner areas were still under construction. Even crossed a wet wooden footbridge. But the bike took it well and the tires didn't slip in the mud nor on the wet gravel although I was being careful -- it was a rainy day -- it's been a really wet rainy season here in SEAsia. Had fun (not much) cleaning her up after.
