Thats the Nelson Rigg CL-1060-S Sport Tail Bag I got from Revzilla.. it does sit nicely behind me with 2 straps under the seat.. RevZilla has alot of Nelson Rigg on discounted prices and they seem to get good reviews so I grabbed the tail bag, Nelson Rigg CL-2014 Journey Mini Tank Bag (Magnet) and Nelson-Rigg Sport 40 Saddle Bags just in case I travel further than Wal-Mart.. But I don't think combined its all over 45 liters of storage.. ( I will do a "Touring Picture soon lol) The tail bag at the moment holds gloves, sunglasses, towel, baseball cap, helmet lock and a few other things .. it also expands another 2 inches which would probably hold a pair of summer shorts, teeshirt, socks and boxers.. but I haven't used it at that HUGE size yet.. Nelson Rigg to "me", seems like fairly good quality on the cheap..

Good review. I'm trying to figure out what will work for staying out a few days and maybe even a little camping trip. Single person tent looks like it would go just fine along with a thin sleeping bag in a backpack and clothes in saddle bags.

Seeing you mentioned a one man tent..I use to do that and Hammock camping.. So, just for the heck of it I laid the saddlebags over the tail bag and noticed this makes a nice flat surface that would hold a small duffle or tent bag across of the combination of bags... plus nothing hangs down towards the tires.. I really don't know if the tail bag would collapse though.. the saddlebags are formed so they would keep their shape fine. There are enough d hooks etc to keep all three piece together nicely. With camping light with a mini stove and some mountain home meals, I think it could work.. Sleeping bag can be rolled and bungie it up front on the fairing.. maybe..meh.. probably not lol.. oh a note on the saddlebags..they small..and they do not have rain covers (could use a dry bag inside them I guess) nor do they lock. You can use a small luggage lock on the tail bag,.


Edit: For sliding off topic a bit , I went back and LIKED every picture in this thread.. mainly because there is no such thing as an ugly Ninja 400!! my apologies..

I finally received my back-ordered M4 full exhaust.

Sorry for your annoying loud sound effect.. but I did want to note that the complete system looks very nice. The main reason I am holding off on a slip on is the color difference between the stock exhaust and the midpipe attachments. They seem fugly to "me".. I would love for a slipon to come out that actually uses the heat shield already provided by Kawasaki... I only mention this in about every exhaust posting in hopes some exhaust maker hears me..lol.. maybe some exhaust paint? to match up with black slipons might be out there? dunno...

Dang I should have got the green one, not only does it corner better than the rest it apparently doubles as a jet ski, judging by the boat trailers in the background and the removed clothing in the photo, someones getting ready to go wave riding.

The Green one comes with Fishing Pole holders as well..jus'sayin.... :surprise::devil::surprise:
