Yes, it is somewhat of a pain to install. And then, you can't freely swap back and forth to the stock seat, either.

Installed the Kawasaki solo cowl today.

First, it is quite a few pieces to assemble:

Comparison to stock seat:

The weight difference is 4.7 oz lighter for the solo cowl.

You can't swap freely between the two, because you have to install this bracket:

The bracket is a bit of a pain to install, because there are nuts you use on the bottom side. Easy to lose one.

Installed on bike:

I am kind of on the fence with this mod. It looks pretty good. It is a bit of a pain for the install. And, really, you are only losing 4.7 oz of weight...because you can remove the pegs/hanger anyway. Then you can always reinstall them really quick if you need to ride a passenger....without dealing with that new bracket. Cost was $159 with free shipping, off of ebay.

@Warp12 That look sweet man, Makes the rear of your bike look so much more streamlined. Its unfortunate you cant just switch them out when you want to add a rider - Or I would be ordering one like yesterday.

It appears to reduce the forcefulness of the wind hitting my helmet when I'm doing 100/110 kph when I'm on the freeway

Here's my 400krt edition just got my oil changed and put on a vagabond fender eliminator today. Fyi changing the oil was difficult considering the oil filter was on so tight. But I got it done!

Yeah, I'm in the US. It's a shame that we don't get ABS on the blue ones, but it was a willing trade off for me.

What a nice color. I wouldn`t feel so bad about not having ABS. Nice having more control of the bike.

Here are some upgrades I've recently done. Vegabond Motorsports fender eliminator, Two Brothers Black Series slip-on, Kawasaki tall windscreen, Pro Grip Gel Grips, ATOM swingarm spools.

That Vegabond fender eliminator looks really good. Just ordered one myself. Are you happy with the sound and performance from the Two Brothers slip on exhaust?

got the reflector bolts from a ninja 300 then purchased seperate bike reflectors that are similar to the yamaha r1 and h2 though the botls had a smaller inner thread so got the drill out created my own thread and also slided the bolts to make them a bit smaller then the r1 styled reflectors fit perfectly and I love them, I did this a few weeks ago just never took a photo, here's a couple I took today while riding with a mate.
