in australia we dont have rego's attached to the bike at all, didnt know they have that in New Zealand
You can pretty much put it where you want on the bike as long as it's 'displayed'. If you live in a city where there are parking wardens then it pays to play the game as they can fine you for no Rego but out in the country towns it's never checked.
The dealers tend to attach it to the rear number plate area but I always move it to the side out of the way.

Curious how they see your WOF sticker...?
If you're in Auckland, we get tickets for not displaying that too

I have my WOF (stands for Warrant Of Fitness for members outside of NZ) in a plastic holder bolted to the bottom of the number plate but on the wheel side. I turn it upside so it's out of the wind, cant be seen and doesn't ruin the lines of the bike.
On the very rare occasion I am parking my bike in a city car park (like hardly ever) I just rotate it down 180 degrees and hey presto it's on display.
It's a whole different ball game out in small town NZ!

Here's mine from a trip to nowhere today

I tried to find some beautiful spot to take a picture, but I went without battery for my phone, 150km.. and i live in an ugly ass country. So thats what came :3
OMG Thats the biggest plate I've ever seen. So Uhmm.. Can you get me a photo of a car plate with your bike in it for comparison..? Just curious if they're as bad. Your in Israel right, I googled the area looking at plates on cars and yours seems bigger. hard to tell thou their all blurred out with a big square.

On the plus side if the plates reflective you'll never get in a wreck...

Car plates are pretty standard size I think nothing specail than the rest of the world, they actually started to adapt the EU motorcycle license plate size now (end of June) and i've seen a few that changed. But as a default they'll put you the big one.. and if you want to change to the smaller one go drop them a buck of course..I might go and change in the future, they only thing that is bothering me about the size of the plate is not the look but the size..If I speed I wont have many chances getting away with it  (Camera / Cop)

Actually just realized i dont have a picture of my whole bike with all these changes yet (just finished yesterday)
But i took my tail “400” stickers off and the “kawasaki” at the bottom. Blacked out my windscreen and added a black Akro slip-on
