Thanks! It’s been a long road to get here. Well worth it though, The short summers are fantastic, lots of hiking, motorcycling, fly fishing, mountain biking and beer drinking! It’s the winter that is so great though. Epic back country downhill skiing right from my back door...and tons and tons of light fluffy champagne powder and I am making my own beer taps, one for Guinness and one for a double IPA from a friends brewery in our town!Welcome backl! Great to hear and see what you've been up to. Sounds like a great spot to reside with lot's of recreation on your doorstep. Is this what they call 'livin the dream' ? 😄
For some reason, I had the bright idea it would be fun to build a house by myself!! I’m ready to be done now!Cool looking pad, you doing that yourself or working in with a builder? Winter must be more fun if your a skier I guess. It's not my favorite season. We're past the half way mark now though.
I like your photo. My son and I rode over Loveland Pass yesterday.
Nice. Funny how everything is relative. You would not generally hear an 848 being described as slow turning! 😄My son and I rode over Loveland Pass yesterday. At 12,000’, the air was pretty thin and both bikes were gasping! We did 120 mile round trip and passed 2 mountain passes, 5 ski resorts and crossed over the Continental Divide at least a few times. We swapped bikes back and forth and the Ninja was so much easier to turn in all the tight corners. The Ducati makes you wait until you sweat then you cram in the turn. Fun but scary!
I agree! The Ninja is a cornering beast. The 848 needs to be told and it will turn at scary lean angles (for me anyways!) and the traction control helps with all the rocks and misc other road hazards but the mighty Ninja waits until you start to think that you need to turn then BAM your almost through the turn. So much fun. I am still a bit anxious on the 848 and now that I am learning that it likes to go into a turn at the very last moment, I’m not going to get rid of the Ninja anytime soon.Nice. Funny how everything is relative. You would not generally hear an 848 being described as slow turning! 😄
The quick turn in has to be one of Ninjas biggest trump cards.
Love the yellow, wish mine was that colorI was able to pickup the Ninja after the snow melted today, the dealer was very helpful loading it up on my bike carrier and the wife helped unload it. Glad to have the new edition home, has 0 miles on it presently. I have to wait until all the paperwork is received (MSO or MCO) and registered. A policeman lives 1 block from me ....
Very cool pics, nicely captured 👌Met up with a friend on Saturday. We parked on the sidewalk by the I10 feeder road (was spontaneous) and talked a little while, enjoying the gorgeous sunset. Thought I would share and hope yall enjoy it as much as we did.
