Ninja 500 motor in Ninja 400?

I have the opportunity to pick up a crashed 2024 Ninja 500 for about $2K. What I'm wondering is if I can take the motor out of the 2024 500 and put it into my 2018 Ninja 400 track bike (I just do track days for fun, not racing).
I have to pull the motor on my Ninja400 anyway to have the transmission undercut, but I figure if I can use the mods I already have on the 400 (velocity stacks, full Hindle exhaust, high flow air filter, K tech suspension, rearsets etc) and get the 500 motor into my 400 frame I'll be golden!
Anyone tried it? I figure I might have to swap over the motor and wiring harness.
Thoughts?
Concerns?
Thanks!

I posted this question as a “worst case scenario”. I haven’t seen the bike to know if the frame is straight or not, but I know it runs good.
I know the forks swap over, does the rear shock swap over? If the frame is straight I may just put my go fast stuff on the 2024 500 frame.

As an alternative to having machine work done to mount the GSXR shock, another thread indicates that one can purchase the lower mount pivot from a 400 and use it on the 500. I haven't tried it yet, but should know later this week.

so I could swap my N400 link onto the N500 since I’d have both bikes in my garage. Hmm
