Cable spring is obviously a much simpler mod, but if it doesn't do the trick, the $20 on springs is a no-brainer. I went straight to the clutch springs and have no regrets.

 

How hard was install? And did you get the clutch springs or the clutch arm spring?

 

Install took about an hour and was easy. I used Barnett springs.

i just got the spears racing clutch arm spring will let you know how it goes after i install it today. as for the actual clutch springs im gonna try to get those installed in the next few months

 

Just ordered the spears racing clutch arm spring and lever set.

At some point in the future I’d like to do the ninja 400r cable spring just to compare but we’ll see.

 

Question. So im at 1100 miles and I've went up 2 teeth in the rear sprock. Im getting ready to order me some HD clutch springs and was wondering if there's any need to order plates with it? I haven't had any noticeable slipping, but I like to pop the front end up alot. Also if I do get the plates with it should I just get the OEM or I read there are other ones I can buy that are thicker. ...I figured doing this first makes more sense because next I want to send off for the Ecu flash to get more power( knowing the clutch will handle it for sure)
