That's totally interesting -- it implies (to me) that the tip over sensor only stops the fuel pump from running (further), but does not stop spark... And the engine will run after "tipping over" until the pressure in the fuel rail drops. That would match what I saw when my other bike tipped over in the driveway while idling with me 10 feet away -- it kept idling until I got there, and then ever so slowly sputtered out. It doesn't match what is described in the service manual, though.
