Took a quick 50 mile ride to scuff in the new rear tire today. Didn't take the camera so no pics/video but I was taking it easy anyway. Although there was one curve where the rear felt a little vague so I knew it was doing the new tire thing.
I opted for the stock Dunlop GPR 300 simply because they do well enough for me to use everything but that last 1/8th inch and for me that is plenty good enough play for the street. Plus after sticking with the GPR 300's front and rear for 13500 miles I'm comfortable with them. Not to mention they fit my not so healthy motorcycle budget.
Also today the lady I posted about a while back who got all excited about seeing a man in his 70's filling his Ninja with gas pulled into the same gas station today while I was filling the bike. She came over and we talked for a few minutes. She still thinks it is really cool that an old fart is riding a Ninja. She wants me to give her a ride on the bike someday.
