Hello. I'm new to the forums and riding in general. Recently purchased the Ninja 400. Had a question for those experienced riders. Seeing if it's normal...is the throttle suppose to be jerky...I noticed with rolling off the throttle specially in 1st gear the bike jerks alot...makes it difficult to be smooth. Noticed this specilly when I'm going very slow or just practicing in a parking lot. Thanks in advance everyone.

Common complaint from new riders, it gets easier to be smooth with practice. Check your chain and throttle cable slack is correct and write the rest off to modern ECU fuel mapping. They programme in a deceleration fuel shut off feature these days to help pass the strict emission tests. If creates a lag when getting back on the gas.
