Racing season is finally starting again in a few days! I have everything packed up and tomorrow I head down to Daytona for my first round of the season. Unfortunately I've been nursing a right wrist injury since the end of last season in September, which doesn't seem to be getting better. In fact I'd say it's gotten slightly worse Went to 3 doctors so far including a wrist/hand specialist and nobody seems to know what's wrong. Initially they thought tendonitis, but the anti-inflammatory medication I got didn't make any difference. Friday morning I'll find out exactly how bad it's going to be when I'm riding. I'm hoping adrenaline will kick in and will mask the pain, at least enough for about 15 minutes, which is roughly the length of each sprint race, but my guess is that it will hurt quite a bit in every hard braking zone, and Daytona has about 4 corners that involve hard braking.
