Rev Limiter on New Bikes?

It's really hard to be sure with stock speedo and tach both being significantly and variably off... If you can get a gps speed at redline in 2nd gear, and if your tires are stock sizes and not significantly worn, you might be able to calibrate your tach using something like gearingcommander.com. Or you can go thru the pain I went thru in the thread above. I assume other folks may have more tach error than I do -- certainly I've heard of folks with more speedo error (10%) than I have (5%). Too bad this stuff isn't just accurate. :-(
