Going to order rear wheel spools and a rear stand, anyone have any good recommendations? I read that the 400 takes the 8mm spools, are there specific 8mm spools that it will only take?

Spools/bobbins are a fairly generic thing. As long as you have 8mm bolt size you should be fine.
Note though that the threaded attachment lug on the bike does not sit flush with the outside edge of the swing arm so you may want/need to add some washers or spacers to pack the spool out a bit.

Note: Those ATOM spools with the pretty color caps..come with a spacer for this issue..

As for Stands, I bought the CHEAPEST I could find and that they are: https://amzn.to/2mSJZOr

The tubes don't look that bad if you can handle plastic wheels (it's a 370 lb bike..not worried).. My only issue was that one of the bolts to hold the claw for the rear stand was rounded out..so vice grips had to do for now to screw it in.. then a new bolt at LOWES later.. I will only use them on a very limited basis like chain wax and adjust .. so I am not to worried about it.. many better ones out there for sure.. I am just cheap..

Yes its 8mm - You'll need about a 3/16" spacer because the nuts offset. No idea why its not welded flush to the edge.

Yes Mr. Mike, I did.. compared to the reviews, there seems to be a few issues with QC.. mine, it works.. I don't think it would fit any wider spools (swing arm width) than I have though.. but for the 400 its just fine with the claws all the way out on the rear.. I have not even put the front one together yet.. I don't know if I ever will to be honest..lol. maybe someday to change tires a long time away for me... The Bike just sits looking at rainy days..sigh. :crying::nerd::crying:

+1 for the woodcraft spools.

I really enjoy mine. You'll probably have to buy some washers though as the spool mount clearance seems to vary between bikes.

Spool thread

As for stands, that's just a matter of how much you want to spend. I'd like Woodcraft stands, but went with Pitbull since those are easy to find on Craigslist.
