To those who don't know, there is an awesome track just outside of Lynchburg, Tn. called Polecat Training Center or PTC.
Evolve GT is the only organization doing track days there yet.
It is a perfect track for a small cc bike.
The first track day of the year is this upcoming weekend, and we had planned to go, but my schedule isn't likely going to work out.
If you are in the Southeast, please support this track.
It is super fun and physical on any displacement bike!

I get the Evolve GT GRIP membership every year, however the furthest south we go is NCBIKE and VIR. PTC has been on the schedule the last 2 seasons, definitely support it when you can. They did pull Palmer in Massachusetts off the schedule because of low turn out. Unfortunately track attendance has been down last season and so far this season as well. The mo tracks the mo better!!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I really like riding with Evolve GT, some organizations are too structured and controlling IMHO.
Evolve will let you rip without too much intrusion, but help you get better when you ask.

So........I did, but only Sunday of other riders.
Saturday was a total bust.........I think I got food poisoning from where I ate with the family Thursday night, woke up Friday with a migraine and it got worse through the day and my stomach was more upset than it usually is with a migraine. So my plans to load up and setup Friday were ruined. Had a hard time sleeping Friday night like I always do the day before a track day wondering what I forgot to prepare or pack/load. Showed up Sat morning still feeling pretty crappy, but a little better, and it started to pour down before we hit the track, then it never really let up at all day. total wash out, so many people went down all over the place. Steve posted a video sliding and crashing......
I know of a few others that were there to ride both days and never went out even once on Sat.

I did a total of two laps. It let up for lunch, little misting to the point you had to squint to tell it was. Went out my session, was not raining but the track was still super, super wet. Took 2 laps, 2nd lap went into to gravity cavity and hit it to the right like I do when its dry, to straighten it out so you come back up the hill in a straight line just off to the right of the curbing, but down in gravity cavity there was mud (a couple people actually went down there) I felt the bike get loose and wiggle this time when I went through there and I actually took my foot off the peg to put it down and when I did that I said "nope" and went straight back in the pits and sat back under the tent until I packed up and left about 4:30 ish...........it was still raining then and had just poured something fierce.

Sunday I woke up after a decent night of sleep and felt even better. Watched everyone go around the track Sunday in the beautiful weather.
