Nobody told me about this part!

Got my 400 and M1 license yesterday. Having alot of fun. But my nads be hurting. My testicles, if you don't know what nads are. I bought the Ninja with a Istunt exhaust, so it's louder and vibrates more I guess.
Is there anything I can do? I have spongy bass traps (soundproofing type material), I'm thinking about cutting out some and sticking them down there. Anything else? I'm sure I'm not the first to deal with this, hehe.
Thanks everyone.

I found the original seat had so much forward slope my pants were pulled tight in front as my body slid forward but the seat gripped the pants. Constant severe wedgie. How after decades of building such exceptional machines can Kawasaki send a model to market with such a poor excuse for a seat?

Bicycling underwear is a cheap easy PARTIAL solution. The only real solution is a re-upholtered seat whether it be local upholstery shop which is a lot cheaper, or one of the online vendors

Yep, the stock seat is angled forward, causing male problems. A lot of us have replacement seats or have had a custom change as @Tracy suggests.

I've opted for the Norton seat, reviews will pop up in the search function. It is a game changer.

If every bike is said to have at least one glaringly stupid problem, ours is the stock seat.

I discovered a change of underwear made a huge difference. I used to like the silky kind but they allowed a lot of sliding forward on the seat causing everything to bind. But when I changed to ordinary cotton the sliding forward stopped and so did the bind. That isn't to say the seat suddenly became comfortable. Far from it! I can live with my butt getting sore as the miles go by however an ever increasing nut pinch is unacceptable.

I had the same problem, and from past experience with the Corbin brand, I bought one for my bike. It does a fantastic job of "neutralizing" the forward slope in the original seat without raising the seat height. However, it's kinda pricey at just under 400 bucks. The Corbin is more comfortable in just about every respect compared to OEM.

Thanks, how long did it take to receive it?

Norton seat can take from a couple of weeks to 6 weeks depending if you send in your seat.

I had a Corbin and sold it. It's not a track day seat.
Got the Norton and my nads are happy happy joy joy again. 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

It took a couple of weeks. But I purposefully waited until the off-season (I'm in Milwaukee) and let them take their time. If you're interested, consider contacting them directly for timing.

I actually got my seat in like a week. Check their website as it depends on their current supply. The stock seat isn't too bad in my opinion, unless you are going on hour+ rides. I kept my stock seat as I actually like it as well. It's not only half a pound lighter, but I like the lower seat height. For me, it's more comfortable to lean off of. It does make the ride a lot more comfortable on your nuggets though.

I got the Norton seat as well. For the same reasons you mention. Pretty happy with it.

Maybe you guys are a bit taller, but I don't have any real problems with the stock seat. It certainly isn't 'plush', but it's no worse than any other sports bike I've been on. Again, maybe it's a size thing, as I find gripping the tank with my legs does help with not moving around on the seat unless I want/need to.

I needed the plushness--otherwise I would have been looking for a suspension upgrade!

Easier and quicker (and cheaper?) solution to the Norton is the Kawasaki OEM Ergo seat...that's what I have on mine, and it adds an inch or two of height, adds a half-inch more cushion on the slim back edge, and -- more pointedly -- straightens the top edge to a much more flat horizontal angle, eliminating that downward slope that's likely causing your issue. Looks much more EOM than the Norton as well, which is a bonus.

I get my gf to massage them from time to time. She can be nurturing in the little ways that matter most.
