Like the title says... 268 miles on the ODO then:
My boss hit my black N400 (while it was parked) with one of our company trucks (a dump truck, nonetheless)
It was at a slow speed and sent the bike to the ground, mangled kickstand, mangled gear select assembly, scratched plastics, etc.

Quote to repair back to new: $3797 USD!:(

Well, he obviously took full blame and his insurance company ended up calling it a complete loss... this was to everyone's surprise.

SO... new 2018 KRT on the way
:)

Sucks that it happened but looks like a decent outcome getting a new replacement and as a bonus "upgrading" to a more expensive paint option.

This is one of the rare situations where everything worked out and you get a brand new bike and new color!

BTW how did you find out your boss hit your bike or did you witness it? Maybe it's also a good time to ask for a raise! :)

I was on-site when it happened but didn't *see* it happen unfortunately.
