Been looking for a decent lap timer for a while now. I ended up getting the AIM SOLO 2.It looks like a decent unit can connect to your laptop via Wi-Fi no need for cables, if your local track isn't in its data base it will learn the track or you can teach it. Dual GPS plus if you want to film you can also purchase the camera which will give you even more info. Plus it has 7 different color backgrounds.I'll be using purple

I like to use SBTG to order as you get store credit for buying so I also bought a few more items from them.

Plus I finally found the Ohlins rear shock available for the N400. The one from my N300 will work but I know it will get damaged as its sprung for a lighter person the guy I bought the N300 from was around 68 kilos. They offer a cheaper entry level one but it doesnt have all the functions this one offers. It will be sprung for my weight.

Mate! 400 bucks for that lap timer, thought you said you were a racer on a budget? Lol

There's a bunch of us at the track that just use an App on our cell phones called Race Chrono. Its does everything I need and best of all it's free.

RaceChrono ? Laptimer for iPhone and Android
I got a nice bonus so I splurged a little bit. Shh don't tell the wife.
