Our first race of the season is last weekend in February. Weather permitting I’m hoping. I’m mainly hoping to do a few races and track days this year. It’s getting harder and harder to do at 71 but I still got the heart if not the body.

I got a tune up on my left hand last month. Not what I wanted but it should help a bit. I tried to get the doc to break and fuse the ring finger to fit around a grip but to say the least he just don’t understand my sincerity.

But before and after what he did. I ordered a shorty clutch lever to help avoid the finger with a permanent hard on.

I think that might have aggravated it.

He called it Dupuytren's Disease. I call it Racers F Up’ed Hand Disease. The fix was to take a needle and poke over 100 holes in the tendon to tenderize it and stretch it out. Thank God for good drugs.
