this is a $25 knock off from Amazon I bought about 6 years ago, and it works really well. I'm 5'7" and this thing is multi-directional; up, down and fore and aft. Cuts noise and redirects wind as you wish almost all of the time.Woohoo, you are set for traveling.
How does the laminar lip work for redirecting airflow? I'd like it to flow over my helmet or at least face. Does it also quiet the wind roar?
I've had this at triple digit speeds and way beyond legal speed limits for extended periods with no evidence of it loosening. I would think compromising the lexan / plastic, whatever would be more of a risk by drilling into it.That sounds great. I have looked at them before and only had one worry ... that it could come loose and decapitate me, or worse!
Does it look like a hole could or should be drilled though at both clamps and bolted to prevent any possibility of it flying loose?
