I'm in my 40s

Every time I go into home depot or starbucks in full gear someone asks me what I am riding. I answer the Ninja 400 and they are disappointed, thinking I'm riding some 1200 cruiser...

Lol. Yeah that sucks. You almost find you give your answer in a defensive manner as you know their response may not be very enthusiastic.
It's getting better for me now, five years ago I was on a CBR250!

Now, seriously, I have had several vehicles in my lifetime. I have owned Mustangs, Audis, trucks. For some reason the one I most loved to drive was my 1981 Chevette Hatch. And that is the effect of small vehicles - you don't need to go 120 MPH to have fun. At 60mph the thing is almost taking off!
