Factory Warranty question.

So I brought my bike home today. But I've pretty much had the sale complete since Thursday minus signing papers. Last night I registered on the Kawasaki site since I had the vin # already after setting up insurance.
But the website is showing my warranty is expired should I be concerned or do you think this is just cause it hasn't fully "Registered" as a sold/active Vin#?

I think their trying to sell you an extended warranty. You don’t have to register at Kawasaki for the warranty to be valid btw.

You will get warranty card in the mail within two weeks.. I think no worries.
LOL! A one day warranty. No brand will beat that!!

Just kidding. There has to be a mistake on the system. Kawi warranty is one year starting on the day of purchase.

Yeah, it would be wise to get the extended warranty, mainly because the N4 is the first production model. And it's not uncommon for first production models to have the most or unaddressed issues.
Not sure why but we get two years in Australasia. (Australia and NZ)
It's definitely not because we are more gentle with our bikes!
Same thing happened to me. I think it takes a little time for them to register the vin in there system, cause when I tried claiming the free jacket offer it says i need to wait two weeks after purchase for it to be in their system.
I get to have the 2year warranty here as well in Spain. Maybe it's a 2-year warranty for the european countries?
And btw, about the jacket, is it just in the US?
