I believe I heard from my salesman that I bought my bike from that the ninja 400 have a battery tender lead already hooked up from Factory is there anyone that can confirm this and if so does anyone know the location of it

First I've heard of it. Not saying it doesn't exist but I would think it would have been mentioned in one of the reviews by now if it did.
Highly unlikely but I dont have a bike yet to look at. Salesman sometimes aren't the most accurate of sources and it's easy for them to rattle off what ever they think a potential customer wants to hear. Esp if the item in question is not easily visible.
I think the sales guy is just saying that the dealership adds the leads during their prep. The dealer uses it to keep up the charge should it run too low on the floor or in storage....
Maybe your salesman can point it out to you because this is the first I've heard of this battery tender lead. If all else fails, you could probably buy one online for pretty cheap.
Mine has been opened up and I'm sure there are no battery tender leads on it from the factory. I had mine added while it was all apart.
My dealer put on a tender lead before purchase during final prep. They do that on all bikes so maybe yours did also?

WOW...I thought this was stock on the Ninja 400? Maybe I didn't realize that my dealership installed one on my mine as well...

That's definitely something your specific dealer did as a courtesy. I've never seen that come standard. Good dealer!

I just bought my 400 1/10/19 and it don't have one. Must be a nice dealership to do that, I didn't even think of asking my dealership to add one lol.

Battery Tender Lead is under passenger seat

The Battery Tender Lead is under the passenger seat. It is next to the cable that opens the rider seat. .....KM

OK lets clear this up.
A battery tender lead is not standard/stock equipment on a Kawaski EX400.

Anyone who has this fitted to their motorcycle will find it was done by the dealer either as a good will gesture but more likely so that they could easily top up the battery while the bike was in their showroom awaiting purchase.

^^ true. i was just casually checking with my sales guy too and he indicated the same. since mine had rolled in just 2 days ago in the showroom they never got the chance to install it before i took it off their hands.
I Installed my own batt tender leads, which came with the new battery tenders,
