There is the KRT colours of course:

Land vehicle Vehicle Motorcycle Green Motorcycle fairing

And my favourite the Spark Metallic Black:

And some (lucky!) markets like Canada get the Candy Plasma Blue:

Wow, Candy Plasma Blue looks awesome. I was planning to get the classic Lime Green Ninja, but now I want this Plasma blue color. Do you guys know if they can deliver it from Canada to the US?

Your dreams have been answered! Ninja 400 will be available in the States in four colour options:

Candy plasma blue, metallic spark black, KRT and pearl solar yellow/pearl storm gray/ebony (what a mouthful)

Do I have to pay extra to get Plasma Blue color or it has the same price?
Yeah!!!!

The way I read it you pay $4999 for a non ABS model in candy blue or $5299 for a ABS model in same colour.
KRT version (only available in ABS?) is $5499
I do like the golden yellow, but I'd have to spring for the green krt myself.
Blue has always been my weakness and with how much cheaper carbon fiber parts are getting its more of a reason for me to get blue, yeah green can work just as well but there's just something special about how blue contrasts with carbon fiber.

Yeah I'm a bit gutted we dont get the blue option in Australia & New Zealand, I would have gone for that. I also cant see why they charge extra for the KRT colour option. Surely a bit of extra striping and rim tape isn't that costly?

We need this option!

I hope this new Thai owner doesn't mind me splashing his photo all over the internet but godammit this bike looks good!!:cool:

I'm usually a fan of the Kawasaki green, just so iconic, but you really can't go wrong with a red and black combo especially when it's matte black. Would not be as elegant if it were shiny black.
Passion Red

Go to the 44 second mark of this clip shot at the Calgary Motorcycle show. The footage is a bit shaky but man it looks nice in this colour.
This appears to be an option only in Canada, can't see it listed on the US site.

I believe I see an ABS on the fender of the bike at 1:07.

Good spotting! Have gone back and edited my original post. Cheers.

Why isn't it available in all lime green like in the Tokyo motor show photos? Looks so much better to me than the KRT edition.

I agree John, but maybe with the rim tape too.
I had no idea that the U.S was getting an exclusive blue and Canada red. Although I was originally leaning towards the traditional green, its definitely tempting to consider a more exclusive colour scheme. I wonder if we will see anyone ordering from a different market then where they live, in the hopes of having an extremely rare colored Ninja.
If you go to the Kawasaki website of your country the colour options available are listed quite clearly.

I remember at one point VW Group wanted to buy Ducati, if that happened then just maybe we would see some lamborghini influence on some random Ducati models.

Ducati Panigale Performante anyone?
