Clutch replacement.

Hi
i recently bought a 2019 ninja 400 abs and i had to replace the clutch because i burned it out doing burnouts lmao. but i replaed it yesterday and towards the end after i installed everything i believe correctly and back where i took it from. My clutch line seems to be longer, has more slack than before. ive done everything i could think of, tried tightening the line by the clutch, tried tightening the line by the lever. no matter which way i try to tighten there is still the same amount of slack. my clutch lever has no tension at all. Do i do more damage to the bike ? How can i fix this ?

The 2018-2019 clutch pull rod and pull rod bearing were updated for 2020 because they were incorrectly sized, only allowing slight wear on the friction plates.

Norton Motorsports Blue printed kit is the best! Absolutely transforms the bike into a much much more expensive feeling machine!
I ended up getting the Barnett clutch kit but changed the figuration for less slip again, also changed the pull rod also internal deterrent spring, and removed the judder springs. Also added the clutch cable deterrent spring.
This absolutely transforms the transmission into something far better.
here is the link if interested.

Welp, you did exact opposite what the manufacturer said about easy break in period. Folks when buying a new bike you have to take it easy let the bike run it’s course. But there’s kits out there you can add so you can do all the stunts you want.

@Robs400 welp i did exactly what i bought the bike for... doing stunts! i aint ask for your opinion or for some bs lesson on your recommendations, i asked for help on troubleshooting an issue that i'm fully invested in fixing myself since it will probably happen again, i would like to know how to do all work on MY bike. Cant stand people like you aint offer no help just a dumbass bs opinion that no one asked you for!

Highly recommend you don’t do burn outs race it rev the **** outta it. When it’s brand new. Bc you will burn out the clutch, the gearing, blowout the gaskets, and then you look like fool Bc i see a lot of post about clutch being replaced under 500 miles. When I see those ninjas being sold really cheap is Bc they abused them. And they don’t wanna fix it.

Wtf? We on a forum and I have given info. Also I’m fairly fit.
and you can’t track either ya muppet flog.
I didn’t buy a Supersports bike to be a puppet, I bought one to ride it on track.
Either way you still haven’t fixed ya slipping clutch problem tool.

You haven’t listed what bloody parts you have bought or installed you have no invoices ect so we dunno WTF YOU HAVE DONE OI MATE BEFORE YOU START.
@SDSS definitely wasn't talking to you dude lmao calm down. Don't go put yourself on the ******* train like rob there you've actually been helping... and it is fixed just waiting on my clutch switch!
Not sure if you are aware, but this bike uses the engine as a stressed member of the frame. Excessive wheeling will cause the head bolts to stretch and no longer seal your gaskets when you do wheelies. Eventually you'll notice oil seeping out the head.

Also when you do wheelies, smashing your front forks down flat bouncing off the front ends the way they do...lol they bend rebound rods in the forks 😂 But they won’t know because never do tricks in a bloody corner.
