Hi Guys,

First bike in over 20 years, I'm age 60 .

I just took delivery of my ninja 400 yesterday.

Did 180k yesterday to get used to how things have moved on.

My last bike was a Yamaha 350LC

I used to road race TZ's way back in the Uk. I'm now living in Australia.

Love the bike already, easy to ride. Biggest surprise was that it feels way taller than I remember them. Engine braking too seems a lot more than I expected.

This forum seems a great place to be for information on my new toy.

G'day Dave, great choice of re-entry bike but then again we're all biased as heck around here.
Which state you in? Queensland hopefully this time of year
Enjoy the new toy.

Yeah I'm over in the seventh state of Australia with all the cuzzy bro's
That sounds like a good price, we pay 8.5K NZD here for the KRT which is 7.7K AUD at today's rate.

There's some good biking roads in Victoria, I was in Melbourne for a while back in the nineties and I enjoyed riding the twisties north east of the city. I scared myself $hitless one day racing a guy on an RZ500 on the Reefton Spur road. Must've been a close call if I still remember it 25 years on!
