Bike pulls and stalls in 1st

Hey y’all so for some reason a month ago the clutch wasn’t engaging fully so I replaced the clutch springs, pull rod, and clutch plates. I also added the Norton clutch lever spring kit. Now when I start up the bike and move to 1st gear, even with the clutch level pulled, the gears grab quick, pull the bike, and stall. Anyway I can fix this?

The external cable spring makes it hard to really adjust free play... It is easiest to do it on a rear stand... See this post for details: Engine rides rougher after clutch fix? | Ninja 400 Riders Forum

As Rich said, your clutch free play is too loose, should be 4mm on the N400/Z400.

So you replaced all those components without knowing basic clutch cable adjustment?

You probably only needed to adjust your clutch cable to fix the original problem.
